This kit is designed for the 2016 Polaris RZR XP Turbo by STM Powersports.
Want more consistent power from your RZR XP Turbo? STM now offers an intercooler relocation kit that has shown huge improvements in offering consistent power that is lost when the machine gets warm.
The idea of this kit is to cool the intake air temps into the engine. This engine has an air to water intercooler that is encased around the throttle bodies . Engine coolant is used to circulate around the intercooler causing the air intake temps to be above 190 degrees. In our dyno testing with the stock set up we would lose 10-15 HP when the engine was heat soaked. With this kit on the Dyno, power was very consistent pull after pull vs stock that would lose power after 1 pull. Hot air = less power. Getting the engine coolant heat out of the intake allows for cooler air to go into the engine through the intake allowing for more consistent power. The kit is a complete stand alone kit that circulates and cools itself with fresh air and the use of forced air from the fan. After doing three back to back 10 second dyno pulls the coolant temp in our radiator was 80 degrees and there was no loss in power.
Give your engine its power back
This kit includes everything you need to create your stand alone water cooled intercooler.
